Owner & Teacher
I’m a wife, a mom to 2 boys, a graphic designer, and resident of Vancouver, Washington! I graduated from CSU San Bernardino with a BA in Arts Education in 2013, and from there went on to work as a graphic designer for a few years. After having my first son, we moved from Southern California to Washington state, and I became a stay-at-home mom. As my son grew older, we did more and more arts and crafts. Over time, I had started to realize that art was not something that came naturally to a lot of parents, and I was unhappy with how little art was offered at my child’s school. That’s when I started to offer process art classes to my friends’ kids out of my garage.
Those art classes soon outgrew my garage, and we moved in to the Providence Academy. We had a very cute and beautiful start there, and many families fell in love with what we did. We soon needed more space, and moved to our spot on 8th and Esther Short.
Our Esther Short location was magical. Beautiful windows and very inspiring to be in. We were there for 2 years before we started facing financial hardships and realized we still needed more space. This is when we sought out a different space that was bigger, but more affordable.
That brought us to our final location, at the Vancouver Arts Hub. This was a space I could have been in forever. It was so nice to share the space with other creative groups, and have more space and flexibility. We were only there for about 8 months, but I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have explored our business in this space. Thank you Arts Hub!
