Class Policies and FAQs
-
Multi-Week Sessions: are fully refundable up to 7 days before the start date, minus a 4% processing fee. Beyond that, we cannot offer refunds. We offer credit for up to 1 missed class per session, to be used within 2 months of receiving.
Single Class Cancellation Policy: Single classes are refundable within 5 days of a class, minus 4% processing fee. NO rescheduling or refunds within 48 hours of a class start time. Art supplies are not cheap, we often have waiting lists, and a lot of thought and prep goes into these classes. Please understand that this is a rather generous cancellation policy in the art world.
If the teacher cancels the class due to illness, inclement weather, or insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be given.
Please email me to talk if you need to cancel or reschedule a class in advance.
Camps Cancellation Policy
Camps are fully refundable within 3 weeks of start date. After that, camps are not refundable unless we can find someone to take your spot.

Please do not bring a child to class who has a fever, coughor very runny nose. Let's help keep everyone well!
-
All classes may at times include paint and messy play. Some materials may not wash out of clothing. Dress your child in clothes that can get permanently stained or have them wear a large t-shirt over their clothing.
-
We recognize that some students may require additional support to successfully and safely engage in our activities. If a student's needs extend beyond what can reasonably be expected within the structure of our program, we require that an adult who is very familiar with the child’s needs accompany the student to our program.
This adult will assist and actively supervise the child throughout all activities, ensuring that they can fully participate in and enjoy the learning experience. We welcome the adult’s presence and will include them in the program. We appreciate the collaboration and understanding of families in making this possible.
For more information or to discuss specific needs, please contact us before enrollment so we can ensure the best possible experience for your child.
-
Class may be cancelled if the minimum enrollment of 4 children is not met. Please let us know if you are not able to attend a class, as it not only affects our employees, but also the employees scheduled at the Arts Hub.
-
Artists attending Drip Drop classes and camps must be respectful of the studio, instructors, classmates, and our class time together. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated in class. Examples of such disruptive behavior includes but is not limited to the following:
Threatening language of any kind
Physical attacks such as hitting, biting, pinching, or shoving
Breaking or destroy studio supplies or property
Repeated teasing or insults after a student or instructor has asked them to stop
Leaving the classroom or building without a parent or instructor
If a student is disruptive to the learning environment in our class, we will first talk with the parents to find a resolution. If the behavior continues, we will dismiss the child from the class and provide a refund for the remaining classes.
-
We used to offer birthday parties, but since moving into our new space at the Vancouver Arts Hub, we can no longer offer them. We may bring them back one day, but at this time, we are not offering them.
-
It depends! We know each child/family has different needs. We think children usually do best in the specified age range, but please contact me if you need help deciding which class is best for your child. Sometimes we can make exceptions for siblings who want to do a class together, however we cannot make exceptions for preschool aged children to join our elementary aged classes.

Yes! There are several restrooms located in the Arts Hub building, including one very close to our area.

We often use DRY uncooked lentils, beans, oats, and rice in our sensory bins, as well as playdoh (wheat). For paint, we use Blick Premium Tempera, which is free of petroleum and common allergens, including gluten, soy, dairy, casein, eggs, and nuts. We also use Blickrylic for some projects (no latex, dairy, casein, soy, egg, gluten, peanuts, or tree nuts). If your is allergic to any of these, please mention it in the registration form AND send an email to me to bring attention to the allergy so we can make accommodations.
Please do not bring/send snacks with your child that have nuts, as many of our little friends who visit have nut allergies.
